You will receive an invitation to accept your course by Allens Training Desk. Please accept this invitation early, even if you are unable to start the course immediately. Training Desk is the platform on which you will complete your online component of the course training.

Please see information regarding Training desk in this document and the video below.

Some Handy Tips when completing your Allens Training Pty Ltd 90909 course to make it a smooth journey
  • Firstly if you have not received an invite, check your junk. If you are a hotmail.com address, our important information often goes to junk. Do let me know if it has not arrived!

  • Always use GOOGLE CHROME to ensure the videos play smoothly

  • As soon as you receive the invite, accept it and pop a bookmark on the page so you don't lose it

  • Make sure you register for your USI early if you don't have one. If you are having troubles then give them a call on 1300 857 536. If you don't know what a USI is, see the information below.

  • You can start the training, then leave to put the kids to bed or do the dishes, and return to where you left, so it does not have to be completed in one setting.

  • The blue box will turn green when the video is completed

  • You can't cheat (trust me, I tried), so no dragging the curser across, as your blue box will stay blue and it will register that you haven't watched it all

  • Please complete the online training before our face-to-face session as you will learn so much more to build on the information in the videos

  • Most importantly if you have any issues that cannot be fixed when you have tried twice, give me a call, hit contact us or send me an email as I am here to help

What is a USI you may ask?

A USI is a Unique Student Identifier

A USI is your lifelong education number – you only need to create it once. If you have completed any Vocational Education and Training (VET) since 2015, you may already have one.

Go to this website  https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi and either register a USI if you do not already have one or check to see if you have a number already. The USI is a combination of 10 letters and numbers and is unique to you.

If you are having any difficulties, call 1300 857 536, and speak to the very helpful staff.

Looking forward to meeting you and providing your training & assessment on the day.

 Margie 😊
